Checking your liquor bottles periodically for added water, not only catches employees stealing your profits... but also ensures that your customers are always getting the drink that they paid for. It doesn't take to many watered down drinks before a customer decides to go elsewhere and never return.

A trick used by many bartenders to cover up product theft is to add water to an open bottle. It's very easy for a bartender to setup a system where they pocket the sales for a certain number of drinks, then they simply add water back into the bottles.
Water isn't visible by the naked eye when mixed into a clear liquor. The only way to test for water is with a liquor hydrometer. Our 12 inch liquor hydrometer will find any water added by your bartenders to cover up theft.
