What is the Bar Cop PRO software?

Bar Cop PRO is the full version of the software with every feature included. When you purchase Bar Cop PRO, the software you receive to download is yours to use forever.

What is the Bar Cop LITE software version?

Bar Cop LITE is a free limited version of PRO. It lacks some of the reports and features included with PRO, however still offers basic inventory tracking for establishments that can't afford the PRO version. You can always upgrade to PRO at anytime in the future. The free LITE version also does not include any direct support.

What is included with my software purchase?

When you purchase Bar Cop PRO, you get the current software version to download on your computer (use it forever with no ongoing subscription fees) and one year (365 days) of customer support from the date of purchase. Note: A new support plan can optionally be purchased at anytime in the future for additional support if ever needed (support included with PRO software only).

Is the software purchase price per establishment?

Yes, the purchased license is for use at one establishment. If you want to use Bar Cop at multiple establishments, you will need to purchase a license for each establishment.

What is a Bar Cop software license (EULA)?

The software license (End user license agreement) gives the purchaser the right to use the current purchased version of Bar Cop at one establishment for life. There are no ongoing subscription fees to use the software after purchase. The Bar Cop software application is emailed to you and then downloaded directly onto your computer.

What if my computer dies and I lose the software?

We highly recommend keeping the software download email that you recieve after purchase in your email box. You will be able download the software attachment again at any time in the future if you need to. For Bar Cop to replace your software (if your purchased version is still available) at any time in the future, you will need to have an active support plan at the time of replacement. If a new version of the software has been released and your version is no longer available for replacement, you would have to purchase the new version at discounted rate to receive it.

Do you offer any type of discounts?

We do offer discounts on our software for 501(c)(3) non-profits, veteran organizations, and users of previous Bar Cop software versions. Contact sales for more information.

What are the software requirements?

Bar Cop's backend is powered by Microsoft Excel, so you must have a full version of Microsoft Excel 2013 or later installed on a PC with a Windows operating system. To weigh your products when taking inventory, you will also need Wedge software and a compatible scale - learn more.

*Bar Cop is not compatible with the Mac version of Excel. To use Bar Cop on an Apple computer, you will need to install Windows PC Excel 2013 or later and run it on Mac Boot Camp or Parallels.
