The pricing tool helps you cost out drink mixes, food servings, and product size variations like draft beer pitchers, wine carafes - based on a product's standard price and pour size. To get started with the pricing tool, from the control panel click "Price Management", and then select "Pricing Tool" in the category of your choice.
One of the most important parts (and often overlooked) of inventory control is having drink mixes and different sized servings priced out correctly. Every mixed drink should be cost out based on the standard size and price of each liquor product in the drink mix. A pitcher of beer should be cost out based on a standard glass pour size and the sell price of that glass. Costing out drink prices correctly ensures an accurate inventory.
Let's price out a drink correctly.
Enter the pour size of each product that goes into a drink mix. For example: If you sold a martini with 1.5 ounces of Absolut and 1 ounce of Deep Eddy Cranberry, enter those the pour sizes to calculate the correct sell price range for that drink mix based on each products standard pour size and price.
Bar Cop will show you the pour cost, retail value, and the price you should charge for each product in that drink mix. You should never charge less than the low side of the calculated retail price range. The high side is your optimal sell price when cost out correctly.Have a question? Contact us
