How to run Bar Cop.

Step-by-step guides for every part of the app. Keep this open in a second window while you work, so you can follow along on your own screen.

How Events Works

Events is where a party goes from a phone call to a paid, staffed, profitable event, and where you keep the guests who fill your room coming back. It is a feeder for the rest of Bar Cop: a booked event flows into your Revenue Forecast, your schedule, your Cash Forecast, and your Books. Here is how it fits together.

1. Book the event

Work each party as one record from the first call to the final invoice: quote it, book it, staff it, run it, and close it out with a real P&L. See Book an Event.

2. Set your price packages

Build your standard packages once and use the catering calculator for one-off jobs, both feeding your booking quotes so you are not retyping prices. See Build Price Packages.

3. See it all on the calendar

The Event Calendar is one month view of everything that fills the room, your booked events, the holidays Bar Cop knows, and the local dates you add, so you never get blindsided or double-booked. See Event Calendar.

4. Keep your regulars coming back

Track your guests by name, drink, and date, and work your birthday, anniversary, and win-back lists. See Track Regulars.

Why it connects: a booked event's revenue feeds your Revenue Forecast and the labor budget behind your schedule, its balance due feeds your Cash Forecast as money coming in, and its P&L lands in your Books. Book it here and the rest of Bar Cop already knows.
