How to run Bar Cop.

Step-by-step guides for every part of the app. Keep this open in a second window while you work, so you can follow along on your own screen.

How Settings Works

Settings is two things: how Bar Cop is tuned to your operation, and your account. Business Profile and Recovery Targets hold your operation details and the benchmarks Bar Cop measures you against. Your Account and Team Members handle your login, subscription, backups, and who else can get in. The overview shows your account, profile, and targets at a glance, each with an Edit link.

1. Set your business profile

Your business name, location, and the service periods you run. Service periods are not cosmetic, they drive your schedule, cash tolerances, and Recovery breakdowns. See Set Your Business Profile.

2. Set your recovery targets

The benchmarks Bar Cop grades you against. Industry numbers are pre-filled so you can start day one, then tune them to your own operation. See Set Your Recovery Targets.

3. Manage your account and billing

Your login and password, your subscription and billing, adding another bar, and the full data backup. See Manage Your Account and Billing.

4. Manage your team and access

Invite your people, set what each one can reach, and hand over ownership if the wrong person signed up. See Manage Your Team and Access.

Setup happens as you go, not from a checklist. Onboarding captures your business name, location, and service periods when you first sign in, then each section walks you through its own setup the first time you open it empty. Your profile and targets always live here if you need to adjust them later.
