Locations are your storage areas, the main bar, the back bar, the walk-in, the stockroom, and the order you count them in. Set them the way you actually walk the bar and counting becomes one lap instead of a hunt.

Set up your locations

1. Open Set Locations

From the Inventory sidebar, open Set Locations and add a location for each place you store product.

2. Put them in your walking order

Order the locations the way you move through the bar on a count. Bar Cop walks Take Inventory in this exact order, so a good order means you never backtrack or hunt for the next spot.

3. Assign products to locations

Each product carries a primary location, set on the product in Add Products. Move product between locations any time with a transfer. Counting then follows product by product, location by location.

Why it matters: a clean count order is the single biggest thing that makes counting fast. Set it once to match your real walk and you shave real time off every count.
